Examination Procedures & Protocols

Examination Conduct

ABRCET maintains strict examination protocols to ensure academic integrity and fair assessment for all students through both internal and external examination systems.

Invigilator Responsibilities

Pre-Examination Duties
  • Arrive at examination cell 20 minutes before commencement
  • Verify receipt of correct number of booklets and question papers
  • Count and manage code books/data books sent to examination halls
Student Verification
  • Check student Identity cards before allowing entry
  • Deny entry without ID or Convener’s permission
Examination Hall Conduct
  • Maintain silence for conducive environment
  • Announce assignment questions 1 hour before closing
  • Prevent early departure (last 15 minutes restriction)

Malpractice Prevention
  • Prohibit printed/written material, mobile phones, and electronic devices
  • Require students to hand over purses/pouches (except money)
  • Prevent exchange of stationery items between students
  • Report malpractice cases immediately to Convener
Bell Schedule
  • Warning Bell (Short Bell): 20 minutes before commencement
  • Long Bell-I: At examination commencement
  • Long Bell-II: At examination completion

Additional Examination Guidelines

Answer Script Management
  • Invigilators must personally distribute/collect answer scripts
  • Return all answer scripts to examination cell after completion
Invigilator Conduct
  • No mobile phone usage during invigilation
  • Only brief absences permitted (nature calls)
  • Inform co-invigilators when leaving temporarily
