About the Department:

The EEE department, started in 2008, has a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty. With its exceptional infrastructure, the department accentuates on sound practical knowledge, while nurturing creativity in the student community.

All the students have the possibility to participate in the research activity through their Internally Funded Project scheme provided by GES and publish papers in refereed journals/conferences. The students are provided with ample opportunities for the training program of reputed industries, professional societies, research organizations and academic universities.

The EEE department has established a good reputation in the field of power electronics, machines, with prominence in renewable energy and Electric Vehicle technology. Significant research arenas in power electronics include static power conversion, application of power electronics to improve the performance of power systems, renewable resources interface; magnetic, battery and flywheel energy storages and use of artificial intelligence and IoT in power electronics.

Our objectives are to use the above experience to perform collaborative research with industry and to improve student outcome through teaching, research, development and training in the emerging technologies.

  • Design and develop electrical equipment like motors, power generation equipment, and navigation systems
  • Design and develop electronic equipment like GPS devices and portable music players
  • Design electrical systems for aircraft and automobiles
  • Develop manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications
  • Manage power generation and distribution

On behalf of our students, faculty and staff, it is my great pleasure to invite you to discover the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at ABR College of Engineering. And Technology.

I am honored to be the part of Electrical & Electronics Engineering department at ABR College of Engineering and Technology. Electrical & Electronics Engineering Education has always been dynamic and in tune with the current development as well as innovations in creating new technology. Electrical Engineering Graduates from ABR College of Engineering and Technology will be ready to meet challenges in the field of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Graduates of the Program will

PEO1 Success in Electrical Engineering : To provide students with the knowledge of Basic Sciences in general and Electrical and electronics Engineering in particular so as to acquire the necessary skills for analysis and synthesis of problems in generation, transmission and distribution.
PEO2 Industrial awareness and research: To provide technical knowledge and skills to identify, comprehend and solve complex tasks in industry and research and inspire the students to become future researchers / scientists with innovative ideas.
PEO3 Successful employment and professional ethics: To prepare the students for successful employment in various Industrial and Government organizations, both at the National and International level, with professional competence and ethical administrative acumen so as to handle critical situations and meet deadlines.

After Successful completion of the program, the graduates will be able to

PSO1 Design, Develop, Fabricate and Commission the Electrical Systems involved in Power generation, Transmission, Distribution and Utilization.
PSO2 Focus on the Components of Electrical Drives with its Converter Topologies for Energy Conversion, Management and Auditing in Specific applications of Industry and Sustainable Rural Development.
PSO3 Gain the Hands-On Competency Skills in PLC Automation, Process Controllers, HMI and other Computing Tools necessary for entry level position to meet the Requirements of the Employer.
